Barbara Jansen Obituary
Frankfort - Barbara E. Jansen, 89, of the Town of Frankfort, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.
She was born on July 26, 1934, in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of the late Hudson and Louise (Lamphere) Nix and was educated in New York City Schools.
For many years, Barbara was a nurse's aide at the Pilgrim State Hospital on Long Island, NY.
Survivors include her husband Michael Jansen; her daughter, Roni Donatello and husband Nick; her sons, Bruce Markey and wife Cindy, Lee Markey and Scott Sadler. Barbara is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In keeping with Barbara's wishes services will be private and held at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to Hannaford Markets), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY.
