Bailee N. Niznik

Utica - Bailee Nicole Niznik, 12, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at her home with the love and support of her family by her side.

She was born on May 27, 2009, at St. Luke's Medical Center, New Hartford, NY the daughter of Kayla Moynihan and the late Cory F. Niznik.

Bailee was a very special little girl. She is the light on everyone's eye and the sunshine that warmed the hearts of all.  Always the happiest even at her worst.  She had a huge impact on everyone that knew her and met her and was the happiest when she was with her loving family. She adored her mother and father and shared an unbreakable special bond with her brother and sister. She loved drawing, games, spending time with family, laughing, and being her silly self. She was the smartest and brightest ray of sunshine to all the knew her. She gave us the most amazing 12 years of joy, laughter, smiles and love. We will always remember every day that we were blessed to have her with us.

We would like to give a special thank you and appreciation to all the doctors and nursing staff on 11E at Golisano's Children Hospital in Syracuse, NY that have taken very good care of Bailee for all these years. We will always think of you all.

Besides her mother, she is survived by her maternal grandparents, David and Janice Moynihan; paternal grandparents, Richard and Vicky Niznik; a sister, Sophia Niznik; a brother, Brayden Niznik; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was pre-deceased by her father, Cory F. Niznik.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at 4:00 pm at the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to Hannaford Market), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, N Y. The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Sunday, May 15, 2022, from 2:00 pm until the time of the services. All memorial contributions may be made to Bailee's mother, Kayla Moynihan, 1031 Tilden Ave., Utica, NY 13501.
