Anthony J. (Tony) Polidori

Middleville - Anthony J. (Tony) Polidori, 33, of Middleville passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 16, 2021.

 He was born September 13, 1987 in Ilion, NY the son of Linda L. Albertini and the late John A. Polidori. Tony was a graduate of Herkimer, High School, class of 2006.

 On October 21, 2017, Tony married the love of his life, Melissa N. Moffatt at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Utica, NY.

 Tony was of the catholic faith. He was a loving and devoted father, husband, son, and brother. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, family trips to Old Forge, fishing with his children & fires in his backyard.

 Tony was employed at AGI Construction in Albany where he worked as a pipe fitter. Prior to that he worked at Little Falls Hospital and also for the Village of Herkimer. His ability to go from beginner to expert in so many areas is what made him always stand out.

 Tony also had an extensive background in construction which he acquired while working with Rodney Riesel and cemented him as the “Go-to” guy for so many of his family and friends. He was always willing to share his knowledge and expertise to help anyone with anything. His sense of humor and undeniable quick wit endeared him to so many.

 Survivors include his loving wife, Melissa; his mother, Linda Albertini of Ilion;  his cherished children, Angelina Polidori and Anthony Polidori; his siblings, John & Heidi Polidori of Pittsford, NY, Andrea & Michael Nobis of Austin, Texas, Rachel Polidori of Syracuse, Joseph & Danielle Polidori of Ilion and Michael & Holly Polidori of Ilion; his aunts and uncles, Darlene Guido and her companion Dave Zwack and Jules Albertini and his companion Sheri Riker; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is also survived by his in-laws, June and Stephen Jones, Eileen and Rob Lindsay, Brian and Briana Moffatt and Alexandria and Henry Bick.

 Tony is predeceased by two of his best friends, his Dad John A. Polidori & Anthony M. Enea.

 Funeral services will take place on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 8:15 am from the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to NBT Bank), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY (315-866-1500) and at 9:00 am at the Church of St. Anthony & Joseph, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend Terence Healy and assisted by Deacon James Bower. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Town of Herkimer, NY. Family and friends may call at the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service on Friday August 20, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00  pm. In lieu of flowers, the family will be setting up a fund for Tony's Children. Donations may be mailed to Melissa Polidori, 54 Fairfield St., Middleville, NY 13046. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
