Anthony M. (Tony) Annutto, Jr.

Oneonta - Anthony M. (Tony) Annutto, Jr., 84, of Oneonta and a former Herkimer resident, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the Abraham House, Rome, NY.

He was born on October 13, 1940, in Herkimer, the son of the late Anthony M. and Julia (Droski) Annutto, Sr. Tony was a graduate of Herkimer High School.

Tony started his working career on the family farm and also at the former MDS in East Herkimer. After MDS, Tony started T & J Fruits and Vegetables in Herkimer, and later, along with his daughter Debbie, they opened Annutto’s Farm Stand in Oneonta.

He is survived by his daughter, Michele Rowan and husband George Rowan Jr.; Michele’s mother, Judith Keefe; his granddaughter, Hannah Rowan and Brandon Green; great grandson, Landon; a sister, Carole Sterns; two brothers, John Annutto and wife Joan and James Annutto and wife Sandy; son-in-law, Phillip Dauenheimer; brother-in-law, Joseph DiGristina; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was pre-deceased by his parents, his daughter, Debra S. Dauenheimer on April 14, 2025, a sister, Marie DiGristina, and a brother-in-law, Robert Sterns.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 5 - 7 pm at the locally owned and family operated, Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to Hannaford Markers), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY. Burial will take place on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 11:30 am at Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer, NY, where he will be laid to rest next to his daughter, Debbie.
