Anita M. (DeNinno) Spraker

Little Falls - Anita M. Spraker, 66, a lifelong Little Falls resident, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at her home with her loving family by her side.

She was born on April 19, 1957, in Little Falls the daughter of the late Frank and Gail (Bullard) DeNinno. Anita was a graduate of Little Falls High School and furthered her education by receiving her associate degree in medical Billing and Coding from the University of Arizona.

On March 20, 2002, Anita eloped to Las Vegas to marry her soul mate Bernard N. Spraker. Bernie was her true love, and they enjoyed many adventures together. They loved anything from fishing to gambling at the casinos. Visiting museums, traveling around and eating at different restaurants.

Anita was last employed as a house manager for the Herkimer ARC. Prior to that she worked at the former Salada Foods in Little Falls for 26 years. She was a hard worker all her life.

Survivors include her devoted husband of 21 years, Bernie; a daughter, Tiffany Eckler and husband Floyd; beloved grandchildren, Morgan Gail Eckler and Hunter Eckler and spouse CJ; her sisters, Natalie Sergeant and husband Doug, Michelle Stockwell and husband Randy, Barbara McLain and husband Raymond, and Lorraine Congdon and husband Terry; a stepbrother, Anthony DeNinno; and many cherished nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was pre-deceased by her sister, Mary Schaffner and her brothers, Frank DeNinno, Daniel DeNinno and John DeNinno.

In keeping with Anita's wishes funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to Hannaford Markets), 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY.  In lieu of flowers please make all memorial contributions to American Diabetes Association, P.O.
