Andrea H. (Service) Sweet

St. Johnsville – Andrea H. (Service) Sweet, 51, of St. Johnsville, NY passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Monday August 10, 2020.

She was born October 30, 1968 in Little Falls the daughter of Irma (Johnson) Corso and the late Rodney E. Service. Andrea was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School, class of 1988. She also received her LPN Nursing Degree from Herkimer County BOCES.

Her marriage to Calvin L. Sweet took place on July 13, 2013 in St. Johnsville, NY.

Andrea was last employed as an LPN at the FoltsBrook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Herkimer, NY. 

Survivors include her mother, Irma Corso of St. Johnsville; her husband, Calvin L. Sweet; five daughters, Sienica (James) Young, Mykayla Mulcahey, Victoria Mulcahey, Kayla Sweet, and Trisha Sweet; a son, Zacharaiah Sweet; her sisters, Michele Maynard and Victoria Battisti and Todd Austin; a brother, Rodney E. Service, Jr.; her grandchildren, Logan, Amber, Devin, Zackery, Alleyah, Gavin, Isabella, and Autumn; her aunts, Shirley Dolly, Leona Johnson and Rose Crosier; an uncle, Richard Johnson, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and several in-laws.

She was pre-deceased by her father, Rodney E. Service and three sisters, Nancy Swank, Robin Montana and Candace Vose.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 15, 2020 at 12:00 noon from the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to the Masonic Lodge), 20 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, NY 518-568-7040. Burial will take place in West St. Johnsville Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Saturday August 15, 2020 from 11:00 am until the time of the services at noon. Due to COVID – 19 regulations only ten at a time will be allowed to pay their respects to the family. We ask that all attending please wear a facemask and be patient as we safely accommodate our guests.
