Andrea L. (Hysack) Lasher

Herkimer - Andrea L. Lasher, 60, of Herkimer, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Thursday May 7, 2020.

She was born December 14, 1959 in Herkimer the daughter of the late Raymond and Alma (Ford) Hysack, Sr. Andrea was a graduate of Mohawk High School, class of 1978.

On October 10, 1992 she was united in marriage to Leland W. Lasher in Little Falls, NY.

Andrea was last employed at Herkimer Foods in Ilion where she held the position of Supervisor.

A loving and caring wife and mother, Andrea’s life was centered around her loved ones, always putting their needs and concerns first. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR. She was the best “dog mom” to her two loves - Jensen and Bentley. She especially loved being a “Rina” or “Onnie” to the children she watched over the years.

Survivors include her loving husband of 27 years, Leland (Lee) of Herkimer; a daughter, Rebecca Lasher of Herkimer; a sister, Brenda Parr and husband Ricky of Louisiana; a brother, Brian Hysack and wife Brenda of Herkimer; a sister-in-law Lori LeCuyer and husband Jeff; a sister Sondra Hysack of South Carolina; her mother-in-law, Roberta Lasher of Herkimer; three aunts and one uncle; her nieces and nephews Amber Macmillan and husband Brian, Seth Hysack, Macaulay Hysack and fiancée Elizabeth, Craig Hysack and wife Lindsey, Brian Michael Hysack, Sarah Hysack, Christopher Miller and girlfriend Morgan Cook, Brennan Parr and girlfriend Alexis Sampere, and special nephew Tyler Miller; her great nieces and nephews Raelynn, Alexis, Hunter, Layla, Fallon, Carson, and Barrett.

She was pre-deceased by a brother, Raymond Hysack, Jr. and a nephew Kyle Thomas Hysack.

In keeping with Andrea's wishes, funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Due to the current health issues, a celebration of Andrea's life will be held at a date and time to be announced. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to NBT Bank), 527 East Albany St., Herkimer, NY.
