Mervyn Covell Obituary

Schuyler - Mervyn W. Covell, 83 of Schuyler passed away peacefully on Saturday January 4, 2020 at Syracuse VA Medical Center.

He was born August 25, 1936 in Ilion and was educated locally.

Mr. Covell was a United States Navy Veteran, enlisting on November 19, 1955 and was honorably discharged on August 19, 1957 with the rank of First Aid Attendant.

He is survived by a brother, Eugene Covell and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Burial with full military honors accorded will take place on Friday January 10, 2020 at 10:30 am at the G.B.H.S. Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to NBT Bank), 527 East Albany St., Herkimer, NY. 315-866-1500.
