Leonard Davis Obituary

St. Johnsville – Leonard a. Davis, 82 of St. Johnsville and formerly of Ilion, NY passed away peacefully on Thursday March 21, 2019 at the St. Johnsville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

He was born July 4, 1936 in Orlando, Florida the son of the late Leonard E. and Viola (Williams) Davis and was educated in Orlando, Florida.

Mr. Davis was a United States Navy career veteran, enlisting on March 29, 1955 and was honorably discharged on January 3, 1974 with the rank of EN2.

Leonard was of the Protestant faith.

Leonard was a sociable man who enjoyed visiting with the residents at the nursing home. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his son, Christopher Davis and wife Beverly; three daughters, Christine, Beth and Crystal; and many grandchildren.

He was pre-deceased by his parents and his siblings.

A graveside service will take place at the convenience of the family at Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to the Masonic Lodge), 20 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, NY.
