Schuyler – Leo A. Hoenig, 72 of the Town of Schuyler, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Saturday May 12, 2018.

He was born February 2, 1946 in Albany, NY the son of the late Leo and Marie (Refen) Hoenig. Leo was educated at the former Litton High School in Albany, NY.

Leo was last employed as a maintenance man for Dave’s Diner in Schuyler.

He is survived by his children, Leo and Tina Hoenig of Castleton, NY, Joseph and Jodi Hoenig of Gant, NY, Tina Myers of Ballston Spa, NY and Robin Shufelt of Saratoga Springs, NY; 9 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to NBT Bank), 527 East Albany Street, Herkimer, NY.
