Kenneth P. Nellis

St. Johnsville - Kenneth P. "Peter" Nellis, 64, a long time St. Johnsville resident, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Monday January 22, 2018.

He was born January 29, 1953 in Little Falls, NY the son of the late Kenneth L. and Helen K. (Damin) Nellis. Peter was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School, class of 1971 and furthered his education at RIT, graduating in 1975.

Prior to moving back to St. Johnsville, Peter lived in Pennsylvania, Salem, NY and Greenwich, NY.

He was last employed at The Toy Works in Middle Falls, NY, retiring in 2009.

A man who enjoyed the simple things in life, Peter found much peace and tranquility staying at his homestead reading and doing crossword puzzles.

Survivors include his companion of 33 years, Patricia Ephraim of St. Johnsville, her daughter,Becky Ephraim, and her children, Audra and Damien Dubois of Greenwich; and several cousins.

Graveside services at West St. Johnsville Cemetery will be private and held at the convenience of his loved ones. Arrangements have been entrusted with caring guidance to the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to the Masonic Lodge), 20 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, NY.
