Infant Emma Rose Haman

Town of Schuyler – Emma Rose Haman, Infant daughter of Michael B. Haman and Nicole A. Massaro became an angel in Heaven on Tuesday October 16, 2018 at Golisano Children’s Hospital in Rochester, NY.

She was born August 6, 2018 at Crouse Irving Hospital in Syracuse.

Besides her parents, Emma Rose is survived by her maternal grandparents, Tracy Massaro and James Duesler of Herkimer and Michael Massaro and Jaclyn Rockwell of Herkimer; her maternal great grandmother, Carol Van Valkenburg of Herkimer, maternal great grandfather, Michael Massaro of Herkimer, paternal grandmother, Tammy McCann of Sauquoit, great grandmother and grandfather, Pauline and Don Haman of Utica, and maternal great great grandmother, Ann Massaro of Herkimer; her aunts and uncles Robert Van Valkenburg and wife Catie of Roselle ,IL, Donna Hartman of Herkimer , Megan and Mikey Massaro of Herkimer, Angela Lyon and husband Joseph of Little Falls, Michelle Gilbert and husband Tom of  Keswick, VA, Beth Lyon and husband Rob of Herkimer, Ashley Haman and fiancé Joey Palaka of Utica, and Jessica Bellinger and her husband Aaron of Schuyler. Many cousins.

She was pre-deceased by her maternal great grandmother, Mary Massaro and maternal great grandfather Alfred Van Valkenburg and paternal grandfather, Brett Haman.

The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors that took care of our sweet Emma at the Golisano Children’s Hospital, especially Dr. Alferis, Dr. Jill Cholette, Dr. Joseph Kuebler and Dr. George Porter.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for memorial donations to the Ronald McDonald House at 333 Westmoreland Drive, Rochester NY.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to NBT Bank), 527 East Albany St., Herkimer, NY.
