Harley S. Loomis

Tillman, SC - Harley Steven Loomis, 47 of Tillman, SC and formerly of Ilion, NY passed away peacefully on Friday December 27, 2019 in Tillman, SC after a long illness.

He was born on April 1, 1972 in Ilion the son of Donna Loomis and the late Merlin Loomis. Harley was educated in Ilion schools.

He was married to the former Mindy Beach on October 24, 2019 in Tillman, SC.

Harley was last employed at Craftmasters Construction in Savannah, Georgia.

A true family man, Harley always put the needs and concerns of his loved ones first. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, son and brother. He was a talented carpenter and enjoyed spending his free time at home with his family. He loved being outside, fixing things and sightseeing. Harley and his vivacious laugh will be sadly missed by his loved ones.

Survivors include his wife Mindy Loomis of Tillman, SC, his mother, Donna Loomis of Ilion; his children, Dustin Loomis of Adams, Harlee, Logan and Garrett Loomis of Tillman, SC; step-children, Taylor Loxton, Bronson Corrigan, Shae Beach, Kara DaCorsi, Kyla Miller and Saje Beach; his beloved grandchildren, Mehya, Emma, Ashton, Gabriella and Dustin; siblings, Judy (John) Hight of Ilion, Kevin (Tracy) Loomis of Chandler, AZ; and Becky (Mark) Fresco of Ilion; his mother in law, Janice Miller and father in law, James (Mary) Beach, brother in law James Jr. (Tammy) Beach of Gloversville; sister in laws; Amanda (Steven) Smith of Ilion, Nicole and Courtney Beach of Ilion; many Aunts and Uncles, step grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Harley's life will take place on Saturday January 25, 2020 at 1:00 pm from the Ilion Marine Corp, Second Street, Ilion, NY. Local arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A.
