Mohawk – Donald R. (Boobie) Ingerham, Jr., 51, of Mohawk, passed away peacefully on Friday May 5, 2017 at St. Luke’s Healthcare, Town of New Hartford, NY with his loving family by his side.

He was born January 22, 1966 in Ilion the son of Donald R. and Dorothy (Mason) Ingerham, Sr., and was educated in Herkimer schools.

He was united in marriage to Susan Maikranz on June 7, 2014 in Mohawk.

Boobie was employed as a mechanic for Frankfort Valley Auto in Frankfort, NY.

Donald was most proud of his family and loved ones. He was eager to help anyone that needed it, and “no” was never an option. Donald enjoyed anything mechanical and took much pride working and repairing all types of vehicles. In his leisure he relaxed by watching NASCAR.

Survivors include his parents, Donald and Dorothy of Herkimer; his loving wife, Susan of Mohawk; a son, Tyler Hadcock of Florida; his step-children, Sarah Gendron and Thomas Gendron both of Sauquoit; two brothers; Darrell (Hope) Ingerham and Dale (Joni) Ingerham both of Herkimer; two sisters, Corenna (Todd) Perkins of Oneida and Dixie Ingerham of Herkimer; four grandchildren; Layton, Lorali, Jackson and Ezekiel; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws, including his father-in-law, David Maikranz; a special friend, Jean Russell, and his best friend, his canine companion, Kellogg.

A memorial service for Donald will be held on Tuesday May 9, 2017 at 7:00 pm from the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to NBT Bank), 527 East Albany St., Herkimer, NY 315-866-1500.  The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Tuesday May 9, 2017 from 4:00 pm until the time of the services. In lieu of flowers please make all memorial contributions to Make A Wish Foundation, Central New York, 5005 Campuswood Dr., East Syracuse, NY 13057. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
