Dirck A. Storm

Jordanville - Dirck A. Storm, 79 of Jordanville (Town of Stark) passed away peacefully on Monday August 6, 2018 at his home from natural causes.

He was born August 16, 1938 in Pelham, NY the son of the late George F. and Jane Storm. He was educated locally and furthered his education at Rutgers University earning his Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

For over 40 years, Dirck was employed as a mechanical engineer for Sikorsky Air Craft Corporation in Stratford Connecticut.

An avid outdoorsman, Dirck enjoyed anything that pertained to the open land. He enjoyed walking along his fields and tending to his farm. He found much relaxation just being one with nature.

Survivors include his children, Richard A. Storm of the State of Washington, Randall B. Storm Sr., and his wife Maria of Oxford CT., Brendon Carroll of Arizona and Selina Klaybor and her husband Neil of Jacksonville, Florida, and two grandsons.

In keeping with the Dirck's wishes funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of his family. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to NBT Bank), 527 East Albany St., Herkimer, NY.
