Little Falls – Cory (Koon) M. Pavlot, 34, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at his home in Little Falls. Cory was born in the Town of New Hartford on June 17, 1983.

Cory lived a tough life concerning his health but lived it to the fullest. He was most at home being in the country and working on the farm. He loved trucks and riding his different ATVs over the years. His favorite mode of transportation at one point was his craftsman lawn mower, which he had been known for riding to school on occasion or ordering a burger in the McDonald's drive thru.  Cory also was the lead in the procession of lawnmowers in the homecoming parade for his brother’s senior year, class of 2000.  He was proud to be a part of the Remington Arms Company and enjoyed shooting guns. He was always quick to help out a friend and held his friends dear to his heart. You could say he wore his heart on his sleeve, even though he always cut his sleeves off.

Cory is survived by his mother, Linda Pavlot-Cool and step-father, Dana Cool of Herkimer, his fiancé, Elizabeth Calder whom he lived with in Little Falls with their dog Trigger and cat Pud, maternal grandmother, Shirley Marine of Herkimer, paternal grandmother, Greta Herringshaw of Herkimer, brother, Ryan Pavlot and wife Tina of Utica, step-mother, Maura Pavlot of New York Mills, step-siblings, Jimmy Pennise and wife, Chloe of San Diego, Andrea Hanson and husband, Keith of Long Island and Shannon Reeves and husband Andy of New York Mills and a loving family of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many great friends whom he considered family.

Cory was predeceased by his grandfather, Donald Cristman of Herkimer and father, Frank Pavlot of Marcy.

Calling hours for Cory will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 11-2 pm at the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service (next to NBT Bank), 527 E. Albany Street, Herkimer, NY 315-866-1500. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Samuel Luce of the Redeemer Church, Utica, NY, officiating.  A celebration of life gathering will follow at the VFW at 131 Mohawk Street in Herkimer.
