Barbara B. Vail

Little Falls – Barbara B. Vail, 82, a long time Little Falls resident, passed away peacefully on Friday October 19, 2018 at her home with her loving family by her side.

She was born April 14, 1936 in Poughkeepsie, NY and was educated in Poughkeepsie schools.

Until her retirement, Barbara was employed for the New York State Department of Mental Health.

Barbara’s life was centered around her loved ones, she enjoyed the quality time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Barbara enjoyed cooking for her family and making them their favorite meals. In her leisure she found much relaxation in reading.

Survivors include her son, Willard Vail, grandchildren, David C. Vail and wife Samantha of Ilion and children Wesley and Elijah, Samantha Vail of Little Falls and children Khloe and Tyler, Abigail Vail of Little Falls, Jennifer Liddon and husband Chad Liddon of Oregon and son Malcolm, Luke Vail and wife Kristy and children Kaitlyn, Isabella, Ryan, Juleah, Jackson and Cole, Mike Vail, Sandie McDermott and husband Sean and son Cody, Amber Santiago and children Kamila, Javan, Alia, Sophia, Gabriel, Olivia, and Jocelyn, Alyssa Eubanks and son Jay, and Lawrence Vail.

She was pre-deceased by her children, Tracey Vail, Brenda L. Vail, Thomas Vail and Barbara Vail.

Services for Barbara will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to NBT Bank), 527 East Albany Street, Herkimer, NY.
