St. Johnsville - Suzanne Battisti, 67, a long time St. Johnsville resident, passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 23, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital, Amsterdam, NY with her loving family by her side.

She was born June 16, 1949 in Little Falls the daughter of the late William and Helen (Phythian) Reese and was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School, class of 1968.

Her marriage to Richard Battisti took place on July 13, 1968 at St. Patrick's Church in St. Johnsville.

Suzanne was last employed at Freihofer's Outlet in Nelliston, NY where she held the position of cashier.

A woman devoted to her family, Suzanne's life was centered around her loved ones. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. In her leisure she found much relaxation in researching her family through genealogy.

Survivors include her devoted husband of 48 years, Richard; two sons, Darin Battisti and wife Keara and Jason Battisti and wife Michelle both of St. Johnsville; two daughters, Julie Taylor and husband Jack and Holly Brundage and husband Jeremy both of St. Johnsville; eight grandchildren, Meghan Clarke, Em Taylor, Hannah Taylor, Jacob Battisti, Jeb Brundage, Reese Battisti, Josie Brundage and Quinn Battisti; a sister, Barbara Keating and wife Cathy of Massachusetts; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

Suzanne has made an Anatomical Donation to the Department of Anatomy, Albany Medical Center. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to the Masonic Lodge) 20 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, NY 568-7040.
