St. Johnsville – Mary P. Wilder, 71, a long time St. Johnsville resident, passed away peacefully on Monday January 16, 2017 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Amsterdam, NY with her loving family by her side.

She was born May 15, 1945 in Nyack, NY the daughter of the late Patrick and Margaret (Griffen) McCarthy. Mary was a graduate of Clarkstown North High School in Nyack and furthered her education at Fulton Montgomery Community College, with a degree in nursing.

Mary was married to Francis Wilder of Fultonville who preceded her in death. Prior to that she was married to Richard T. Landi, Sr.

Mary’s life was centered around her sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She found much enjoyment shopping on-line for her and her loved ones. In her leisure she enjoyed reading.

Survivors include her sons, Richard T. Landi, Jr. and wife Margaret of St. Johnsville and Philip Landi and wife Roberta of Fresno, Texas; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren; a brother, Patrick McCarthy of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by four siblings.

In keeping with Mary’s wishes, funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to The Masonic Lodge), 20 Bridge St., St. Johnsville, NY 518-568-7040.
