Salt Lake City, Utah/Herkimer – John E. Lukaszewicz, 61, of Rock Springs, Wyoming and a former Herkimer resident passed away peacefully on Thursday July 14, 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He was born December 29, 1954 in Herkimer the son of Jeannette (LaBorgne) Lukaszewicz and the late Joseph Lukaszewicz.  John was a graduate of Herkimer High School.

John was a Banking Financial Planner in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

An avid outdoorsman, John found much peace and solitude hiking in the mountains.  He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his mother, Jeannette, of Herkimer;  a brother, Joseph Lukaszewicz, and wife Mary of Pensacola, Florida;  two sisters:  Joanne Lukaszewicz and husband Jack Leary of Mystic, CT and Janice Dulak and husband Robert of Williamsport, PA;  and two nephews.

In keeping with the family’s wishes funeral services and burial in Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer, NY were private and held at the conveninece of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, NEW LOCATION, 527 East Albany St., Herkimer, NY.
