Herkimer – Jeffery P. Feisthamel, 54, of Herkimer passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 9, 2017 at St. Luke’s Medical Center, town of New Hartford, NY with his devoted family by his side.

Jeff was born in Utica, NY on November 11, 1962 the son of Eileen (Mitacek) Feisthamel and the late Thomas Feisthamel. He was a graduate of Mt. Markham High School, class of 1982.

For over 19 years, Jeff was the Territory Sales Manager for Kuhn North American, Inc., located in Vernon, NY.

Jeff was a man dedicated to his family his life revolved around his loved ones. A true outdoorsman, Jeff spent every spare moment out enjoying nature. He enjoyed farming and found much relaxation hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his mother, Eileen, his loving fiancée of 12 years, Debra Peters and her children, Gerald Floyd Peters and Jami Peters all of Herkimer; a brother, Christopher (Lauri) Feisthamel of Cedar Lake, NY; two sisters, Heidi (Ken) Jones of Cedarville, and  Kim (Bill) Lounsbery  of Averill Park, NY; his  nieces and nephews; Lindsey (Justin) Brown, Austin Jones, Nikki (Andy) King, April Gould and Gretchen McCormick; two aunts, Jane Feisthamel and Mary Agnes Higgins; three great nieces and several cousins. Jeff is also survived by Debra’s family, Regina Collins, Randolph Collins and Michelle Brown, and Sandra (James) Annutto.

Funeral services will be held on Friday May 12, 2017 at 11:00 am from the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to NBT Bank), 527 East Albany St., Herkimer, NY 315-866-1500. The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Thursday May 11, 2017 from 3 – 7 pm. Burial will be held later at the convenience of the family.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff in the ICU and PCU of St. Luke’s Hospital and a special thank you to Dr. Qandah for the care and compassion shown to Jeff and his family during his stay.

In lieu of flowers please make all memorial contributions to the Cedarville Volunteer Fire Department, 960 State Route 51, Ilion, NY 13357. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
