James Powell Obituary

Little Falls - James C. Powell, 83 of the Town of Salisbury passed away on Wednesday April 4, 2018.

He was born October 15, 1934 in El Paso, Texas the son of the late John Spreng and Mamie Jo ( Cartwright) Putman. James was a graduate of Howe Military Academy in Howe, Indiana and attended Michigan State University.

While residing in the Salisbury area, James was an antique dealer.

Survivors include his brother, John "Jack" Putman and wife Mary Diana of Nolensville, Tennessee; his nieces and nephews, Christina Putman, Colleen Putman, Sherri Divozzo, Tim Turney and Kathleen Soulliere.

In keeping with James' wishes funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to the NBT Bank), 527 East Albany St., Herkimer, NY.
