I will miss George terribly. His presence on that corner was a staple in my life for so many years. I knew I could choose to stop and chat or not. It was comforting to know he was there! When I did stop by I always left with a smile because George had a so many funny and interesting stories to,share. One of his favorite topics was his kids! He sure loved them and did everything he could to make their lives easier. The one thing he couldn't do is the reason I'm writing this today. George, I'll love and miss you forever.

I met George through a great group of people and soon realized he was the person who lit up the room. His story's and jokes made me laugh all the time. It took me only a couple minutes to realize why the group called George The Godfather. He would pass on advise and inspiration and always have a story to tell.
I will always miss you Godfather.

I am very sorry for your loss. George was my second cousin and as a kid I remember him driving his corvette and always thought how cool he was. It's sad that he is gone and as family you feel like a piece of you has gone with him. I hope family and friends find peace during this difficult time.

The Rompin stompin Godfather is deeply missed. In one sudden and unexpected moment the world got a little darker, and a little more serious than it needed to be, and echoingly empty. At the same time, a ridiculous and grotesquely-inappropriate limerick-like song was left unfinished, the last notes fading... thank you, George, for filling in our lives with your absolutely unique unpolished truths and enormous capacity to never take life too seriously. We loved you.

George and I shared the names of our beloved Grandparents. I am sure they are rejoicing at their reunion with their beloved grandson. George, you always made us laugh. Miss you. Condolences to your children.
