Newport  – Donald W. Quayle, 38, of Newport, NY passed away on Wednesday August 10, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica, NY from injuries sustained from a work related accident.

He was born May 22, 1978 in Herkimer the son of Ronald E. Quayle, Sr., of Ilion and Loraine M. Quayle of Newport. Donald attended West Canada Valley Central School.

He enjoyed building and construction throughout his life. Donald enjoyed the times he spent with his family and will be remembered for his sense of humor.

Survivors include his parents, his wife, Crystal Quayle; their children, Britiney, Cameron and Victoria Quayle; and a granddaughter, Annalise LeMoine. Donald is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Julie Smith (Dan) of North Carolina, Melissa Quayle (Joey) of Mohawk, Jennifer and Jerry Hayes of Newport, Rhonda and Fred Hayes of Newport, Rebecca and Dan Uebele of Cold Brook, Amanda Quayle (Ken) of Rochester, Jeremy and Jessica Quayle of Newport, Charles Guyer of Newport, Jessica and Nathan Comstock of Fairfield, Joshua Guyer (Kayla) of Newport, Justin Guyer of Newport, Leah Hall of Newport, and Ronald Quayle, Jr. of Mohawk. His is survived by his step-brothers and step sisters, Laura Guyer (Chris) of Ilion, Julie Kent (Derrick) of Herkimer, Merton Guyer of Stark, Jennie and Todd Daniels of Gloversville, Shane Guyer (Theresa) of Stark, Scott Guyer of Newport, Jason and Heather Guyer of Indiana, Sara Guyer of Little Falls, David and Stephanie Guyer of Herkimer, Cherish Guyer (Ron) of Fort Plain along with many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was pre-deceased by his brother, Joseph Quayle, his step-father, David Guyer and his grandparents, Adelbert and Agnes Quayle and John and Sara Miller.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday August 14, 2016 at 4:00 pm from the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, NEW LOCATION, 527 East Albany St., Herkimer, NY. The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Sunday August 14, 2016 from 2:00 pm until the time of the services.
