Mohawk - Dennis Miller, age 53, of Mohawk passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 06, 2016 at his home due to natural causes. 

He was born on January 16, 1963 in Ilion, NY the son of Mary E. Miller and the late Arnold S. Miller.  He was educated at Ilion Jr/Sr. High School and was currently employed at Spohn’s Disposal.

Dennis loved family, friends, animals (his dog Copper) and life itself. He had a sense of humor that could make anyone laugh.  Although Dennis did not have any children of his own he loved and had a special connection with all of his nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.   He would drop everything at a moments notice to help a family member or a friend in need.   

He is survived by his mother, Mary E. Miller of Ilion, NY; his brothers: John and Jean Miller of Gilroy, CA, Michael and Mary Lou Miller of Cold Brook, NY; his sisters: Gloria Devereese of Ilion, NY, Susan and Mark Hoover of Ilion, NY, Sandra and Charles Moore of Ilion, NY, Karen and Harold Seelbach of Mohawk, NY and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his father Arnold S. Miller; brothers: Arnold L. Miller, Ronald Miller, Mark Miller and his sister Barbara Miller.

A get together for family and friends to celebrate Dennis’ life will be held at The Knight's of Columbus, 74 West St., Ilion, NY on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 2pm - 7pm.

Dennis will be missed by many and forgotten by none.
