Herkimer – Charles Bukovsky, 68, of Herkimer, passed away on Friday January 13, 2017.

He was born May 16, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late George and Wanda (Stachowicz) Bukovsky and was educated in Brooklyn, NY.

Charles was last employed as a chef at the Lake House Restaurant in Richfield Springs, NY.

 Charlie enjoyed to cook for his friends and was happy when their appetites were satisfied. He found much pleasure going to garage sales and looking for the hidden antiques. Charlie has a special place in his heart for all animals.

He is survived by his friends, Harold (Skip) and Carol Springer of Herkimer, Charles Shapley of Norwich, Alanna Brenchley of Norwich, David White of Lynbrook, Long Island, and Becky White of Schuyler.

In keeping with Charles’s wishes funeral service will be private and held at the convenience of his friends at a later date. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (Next to NBT Bank), 527 East Albany St., Herkimer, NY 13350.
