Town of Stark - Carole A. Wohlgemuth, 83, of the Town of Stark, passed away peacefully on Saturday November 26, 2016, at her home with her loving and caring family by her side.

She was born April 21, 1933, in Brooklyn, NY; the daughter of the late Walter C. and Caroline M. (Duggan) Bulger and was educated in Brooklyn schools.

Carole was last employed as a residential assistant for the Sussex County ARC in New Jersey.

With family as her foremost priority, Carole proved herself a loving and nurturing mother and grandmother. A woman who respected the simpler things in life, Carole found much enjoyment in reading, writing to her friends or just sitting at the kitchen table looking out the window appreciating the beauty of nature.

Carole was devoted to her Catholic faith and held a special place in her heart for all of God's animals.

She is survived by two daughters, Rita and husband Richard Elsaesser of Richfield Springs, NY, and Eileen and husband Robert Clarke of Denville, NJ; a son, Daniel Wohlgemuth and wife Mary of Branchville, NJ; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister, Joan and husband Ed Holden of Morristown, NJ; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close life long friends that she kept in touch with throughout her life. She was predeceased by a sister Mary Toomer and a grandchild.

In keeping with Carole's wishes services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to NBT Bank), 527 East Albany St., Herkimer, NY 866-1500.
