Barbara J. (Wilson) Bennett

Frankfort - Barbara J. Bennett, 65 of Frankfort St., Frankfort, NY passed away on Sunday April 8, 2018 at Valley Health Services with her loving and devoted family by her side.

She was born October 22, 1952 in Utica, NY the daughter of the late Richard and Yvonne (Bugbee) Wilson and was educated in Utica schools.

Barbara was united in marriage to William Bennett.

She was last employed in the housekeeping department at the Folts Home in Herkimer, NY.

a woman devoted to her family, Barb always put the needs of her children and grandchildren first.  She enjoyed crocheting and doing puzzles in her leisure. Barb loved to cook and found much pleasure cooking for her family and enjoyed the quality time she spent with each and everyone of her loved ones.

Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" of Mohawk; her sons, Tim Oldfield of Texas, Eric Bennett and wife Colleen of Ilion, Keith Bennett of Frankfort, Todd Bennett of Frankfort and Rob Rando and wife Courtney of Little Falls; four sisters, Leslie Wilson, Kathy Tilson, Noelle Taylor and Christine Willey and husband Bob; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousin.

She was pre-deceased by a brother, Ricky Wilson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday April 13, 2018 at 1:00 pm from the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, (next to NBT Bank), 527 East Albany St., Herkimer, NY. The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Friday April 13, 2018 from 12:00 noon until the time of the services. Burial will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.
